Disney’s Pixie Hollow is a place for children to let their imagination roam. Kids can create unique fairies and use those fairies to explore Pixie Hollow. This article explains how to create a fairy for use in Pixie Hollow.

How to Create a Fairy on the Pixie Hollow Disney Website

The article "Create Disney Fairies on Pixiehollow.go.com" discussed the process of creating a username and getting ready for Arrival Day in Pixie Hollow. To recap, all parents need to do is visit Pixiehollow.go.com and click on “Play” to sign up or log in. Upon registration or login, click on “Play” again. This will prompt you to create a fairy.

Follow these initial steps:

  1. Click “Create”
  2. When Tinker Bell asks if you’re ready to create your own fairy, click “Next.”
  3. Tinker Bell will say that you need to choose a special talent for your fairy. Click “Okay.”

More detailed steps come next, from choosing a talent to setting facial features.

Choosing a Fairy Talent: Light, Tinker, Garden, Animal, Water Abilities

The fourth step in the fairy creation process is to choose a fairy talent.

  • Light-talent fairies keep Pixie Hollow glowing after the sun sets. They also train fireflies and glowworms to act as torches, and they love to make rainbows in the daytime.
  • Tinker-talent fairies build and fix Pixie Hollow. They use their vivid imaginations to invent new gadgets and make things work.
  • Garden-talent fairies understand things that grow. They know what plants and flowers need to blossom and grow.
  • Animal-talent fairies can speak to any animal. They are sensitive creatures and can sense an animal’s thoughts and emotions.
  • Water-talent fairies can manipulate water. They can mold it, make it freeze or boil, and creates waves in puddles and ponds.

Before clicking Next, adjust the pixie's features from fairy-appropriate settings. The pixie's height can be anywhere on a scale of short to shorter (4.5 to 5.5 inches). Her size can be from little to littler.

Set facial features (face shape, skin, and eye color), and choose a hair style. Front and back hair styles are chosen separately. Choose from sharp bangs to loose wisps in front and from tight short braids to flowing long hair in back. Hair color can be anywhere from dark brown to blond or even fuscia. Select a wing style (from long & pointy to petite & wider set). When done, click Next.

Creating Disney Fairies: Fairy Attire, Unique Name, and Pose

After the major decision regarding fairy talent has been made, and the hair style and facial features are set in place, follow these steps:

  1. Choose the fairy’s attire. Select a bottom, top, shoes, anklet, bracelet, necklace, barrettes, and sash. Certain accessories can be omitted, if so desired.
  2. Click Next to name the fairy. The first name comes from a single drop-down list. The last name is the combination of two cute words from two different drop-down lists. There are hundreds of combinations. Two examples: Orchid Sweetgem, Infinity Sugarglimmer.
  3. Click Next to pose the fairy. Customize the position of her arms and tilt her head. She can be made to look like she’s standing up or posed in a way that makes her look like she’s flying through the air.
  4. Click Next to Save and/or print your fairy creation.

The pixie you and your child created will print out just as she was designed with her unique name at the top of the page and the logo of Disney’s Pixie Hollow on the bottom left. This is perfect for displaying prominently around the house!

Upon clicking Save, a screen will pop up with a unique Pixie Page URL to share with friends and family. Users will also see this inspirational message, “Take to the skies, meet and chat with other fairies, and play games, in the magical world of Pixie Hollow online!”
